The Community Association and the Parish Council arranged a public meeting at:
Kings Church, Raans Road, Amersham HP6 6LX at 7.30pm on Thursday 18th January 2018
Approaching 500 people attended the public meeting.
In explaining their support for the direction of travel of the emerging Local Plan, our district councillors, Don Phillips and Peter Martin covered the complexities of the process and the pressures from the government. There was a robust Q & A session and they were left in no doubt about the strength of the community's opposition to the development plans for Little Chalfont.
While we all learnt something that evening we believe that nothing new came to light that reduced the resolve of those attending to fight on to have PO6 removed from the options and therefore the mandate to carry on challenging was unaffected.
